The University of Cambridge adopts Terasic's DE10-Pro for their POETS project, a novel kind of computing architecture, built upon the neuromorphic concept
The University of Cambridge adopts Terasic’s Stratix 10 FPGA solution, DE10-Pro , for their POETS project (Partial Ordered Event Triggered Systems). The project also joins hands with University of Cambridge, University of Southampton, Imperial College London and University of Newcastle.
They have developed a RISC-V based fine-grained multiprocessor fabric that spans many FPGAs called Tinsel in order to use this to accelerate scientific simulations including neural networks and dissipative particle dynamics (DPD).
