Bridging Sensors to AI Compute — Deterministically
Terasic’s platforms position the FPGA directly in the data path between sensors and AI compute systems.
On platforms such as the DE25-Standard (Agilex™ 5 SoC FPGA), high-resolution image data is ingested directly from MIPI CSI-2 sensors into the FPGA fabric. The data is then processed and packetized in hardware, and streamed over 10GbE with deterministic, low-latency behavior into the AI compute platform.
By offloading sensor interfacing, data aggregation, and networking to the FPGA, the compute system is freed to focus on AI inference and application-level processing.
Scalable Architecture from 10GbE to 200GbE
The same sensor bridge architecture scales across Terasic’s portfolio — from 10GbE platforms based on Agilex™ 5, to higher-bandwidth systems supporting 100GbE and up to 200GbE using Stratix® 10-class devices.
